The Garden City Recreation Department will be conducting Children’s swimming lessons for Village residents at the Adelphi University Swimming Pool in Woodruff Hall on Saturday mornings.  Your child must be six years of age by the start of the program to participate.

We will offer our poplar Pee-Wee Sports Sampler program this winter for resident children ages 4 & 5. This 6 week program has been designed to provide an opportunity to try a wide variety of sports with basic instruction.

Recreation and Parks Department News
Beginning December 5th, the Department of Recreation and Parks will no longer accept cash payments for program registrations, rentals, balls, and contracts at our Administrative Office or for Platform Tennis and Tennis at Community Park.  Checks and credit cards (no AmEx) will continue to be accepted.

Bricks 4 Kidz
We will once again be offering a "Bricks 4 Kidz" Legos program for children in grades 2-4 who are residents of the Village. This program will spark the imagination and creativity to take on an adventure that is out of this world!  Please click here for an application

Zumba Gold
Calling all seniors to be part of the fun of Zumba Gold. This class is specially designed for our Senior residents and taught by Felicia. Please click here for an application. 

Department Strategic Plan
We are pleased to announce the commencement of renovations at Cluett Hall and the Field House.  Please click here for specific improvements that residents can anticipate to be completed this Fall. 

​ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
Due to scheduled renovations in St. Paul’s Fieldhouse, our After School Program will not begin until January but will extend into March.  Please check our website for further information as we get closer to the start date.
