The Department of Recreation and Parks is pleased to announce the start our summer camps registration. Remember your child must be the age required by the start date of the class in order
to register.  Registration is by MAIL ONLY until June 5th.

*Yoga for Adults and Children
Sign ups for our spring yoga sessions for both adults and children are underway. Classes are open for residents of the Village of Garden City and will take place in Cluett Hall at St. Paul's. For more information and to download your application please click here.


*Community Garden Sign Up
It’s time to plant the garden!  We are now accepting applications from residents interesting in planting plots in our Community Garden, located in front our Administrative Office at 108 Rockaway Ave.  All applications will be put in a lottery and the winners will be notified as to where their plot is located and when they can start planting.  Please click here to download an application.


*NEW Session of Tennis Lessons Announced for Youth and Adult
A new session of Tennis Lessons are set to begin at the Community Park Tennis Center for both youth and adults.  Click here for additional details and an application.


*Community Park Miniature Golf is Open
Affordable family fun is right around the corner, so don’t forget to visit our state of the art miniature golf course. Our beautiful 18 hole course is located behind the Garden City Pool and is filled with challenges galore that will delight mini-golfers of all ages. *Pool Application - Swim Lesson Registration

Pool applications have been mailed to all Garden City homes. If you did not receive one, an
application packet can be downloaded by
clicking here. Please be advised that the swim lesson
registration form was omitted from the packet. Completed applications should be sent to 108 Rockaway Avenue. You may download the swim form by
clicking here
or you can pick one up at our Administrative Office at 108 Rockaway Avenue.  


*Registration for Women's Tennis Leagues
Registration for the 2012-13 Community Park Tennis Center weekday women's tennis leagues are are due April 30th. All players wishing to join can pick up and fill out an application at the Community Park Clubhouse or download one at our Tennis Programs page. Returning players must fill out a form and new players are always welcome!


*Consider Us for Your Next Birthday Party or Group Event
If you are planning a birthday party, a group outing or just looking to get together with family, friends or co-workers, why not try miniature golf at Community Park. The Department of Recreation and Parks have been busy planning a variety of activities for our residents to enjoy during the upcoming months.  We hope you will join in with the many other residents of Garden City who take part in the programs and activities we provide.  We realize the amount of options to choose from, we worked extra hard to make our programs worthy of both your time and participation.
